Heiko Aehle






Heiko Aehle was born in 1967 and started playing pedal steel in 1988 when he got his first instrument. He was one of the first steel players in the so-called GDR (German Democratic Republic) to play at steel meetings in Poland and Czechoslovakia. He's the most requested steel player in the eastern part of Germany.

Since the wall went down Heiko has worked throughout Germany with different Bands and Groups. He played in Lithuania and at the Smokey Mountain Steel Jamboree 2000, and played at the European Steel Guitar Convention in Netherlands 2002.
