"In the Steel of the Night"

Georgians need no introduction to Tommy Dodd - he's one of the top steelers in the Atlanta area. For this 2003 project, Tommy decided to showcase his steel-playing talent in a variety of musical styles. Pop, Country, Gospel, Blues, Jazz and even Disco are all represented here.

Tommy's Zumsteel aches on the slow songs as much as it exites the senses on the fast ones. There is very little in the way of special effects here - you get to hear every nuance in this master player's hands. Every steel guitar fan will enjoy this CD from start to finish.
